CAYENNE & GINGER BALM

A wonderful all-natural balm that may help with arthritis pain & inflammation, bursitis pain, joint pain and sciatica pain. aching sore muscle, headaches. POOCHIE BALM

 My "Poochie Balm" has been made for Australian weather conditions and is quite firm. Applying this balm regularly on your dog's pads will nourish the skin and prevent cracked, chapped itchy paws, noses and ears as well dry itchy patches on the skin Protects from hot pavement in the warm days and prevents ticks and fleas from going between the toes. All ingredients sourced locally and only Australian essential lavender oil has been used. I hand collected the dandelions myself and infused the coconut and olive oil for up to six weeks, adding to the healing properties of my "Poochie Balm". It is packed with nourishing butters shea and cocoa to moisturise poochie's pads and skin it also contains vitamin e oil, it has a high beeswax content which leaves a protective barrier on the pads. With added arrowroot so it isn't greasy it massages into the paws and skin easily.  It has been "Bodie" (my dog) tested and approved. The balm can be used  for minor cuts sores, bites.

Ingredients: 
Dandelion infused olive and coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, sunflower oil, vitamin e oil, Australian natural beeswax,  Australian Lavender essential oil, arrowroot.
Directions for use
Scrape a small amount (a little goes a long way) from the tin with the back of your fingernail, massage well into poochies  pads  between the toes or skin. I always take my time doing this making sure it is well rubbed in because you know they are going to try to lick it off. you should see a great improvement within a week of using the balm.

The Lavender essential oil promotes relaxation and helps cleanse cuts, helps with bruises and skin irritation.

Anxiety Relief

Lavender is most known for its calming properties… not just for humans, but for dogs as well. Breathing the lavender helps to reduce their anxiety and stress.

Insect Repellent

Lavender oil is a natural flea and tick repellent. Isn’t that great to know? (ALTHOUGH I would not advise you to stop using your regular paralysis tick treatment especially in Australia) You can treat your dog’s bedding, spray it on his collar, add it to his shampoo, and even dilute the oil and mist or spray it on your dog*. Lavender will not kill the insects, but it will repel them.

Antiseptic uses

Lavender oil is great for an itchy dog. It soothes irritated skin and can help prevent infection from over-scratching. Lavender is a full spectrum oil, meaning it has antibacterial, antiseptic, and antimicrobial properties. It’s totally safe when used properly, and a must-have for your doggie medicine chest!

Cautions when using Essential oils

Here are some common sense rules to go by when considering using any essential oils at home on your dog:

  • CONSULT YOUR VET BEFORE USING. ALWAYS.
  • *Always dilute the oils. Check with your vet for the proper dilution ratio.
  • Use only pure, therapeutic grade essential oils.
  • Do not use oils on young puppies or very small toy breeds.
  • If your dog is old, sick, or pregnant, do not administer the same amount you would for a healthy dog. Again, consult your vet FIRST.
  • Never use the oils near your dog’s eyes, mouth, nose, or genital area.
  • Never use oils on your cat.

    • Remember, your dog has a super sensitive sense of smell and may find the oil offensive. If he doesn’t like it, please don’t make him “wear” it.
